Hope this helps if you're having resolution/scaling issues with this game. To do that, I right-clicked on both executables in the game's folder in the Steam directory (Civ VI/Base/Binaries/Win64Steam), chose Properties, clicked the Compatibility tab, and checked the "Override high DPI scaling behavior." I changed this setting from "application" to "system." That told me the game wasn't scaling itself correctly, and that I needed Windows 10 to handle scaling instead. But when I loaded up the game, it wasn't scaling to the physical limits of the screen, expanding into infinity. I then hunted down the game's GraphicsOptions.txt config file (Documents/My Games/Civ VI), and forced the 1.920 x 1,080 resolution. No matter how many times I tried to change the settings to full-screen 1080p, the game just wouldn't save the settings. Augustus is able to load Caesar 3 and Julius saves, however saves made. 'The aim of this project is to provide enhanced, customizable gameplay to Caesar 3 using project Julius UI enhancements. We test the game at a 1080p resolution, but the graphics settings were stuck in some wacky low resolution, and in borderless window mode. The goal of Augustus, a fork of the Julius project, is to go beyond just recreating Caesar III and to actually improve and implement changes to the game.
